2009 Holiday Card

As the holiday season approaches it is a time to reflect upon the year and give thanks. For the past 29 years, Community Kitchens of Birmingham has served those in our local community who are hungry and we are committed to continue providing for anyone in need.
Community Kitchens asks you to give a gift that will provide a warm meal, hope and reassurance for those in need. Instead of buying the same old gifts for friends, coworkers and business associates, give a gift “In the Spirit of the Season”. This special holiday card designed by Kim Graham lets others know that “In celebration of all we share, a gift which will feed meals to the hungry has been donated in your name to Community Kitchens”.
3 Simple Steps to Give
1. Just send your holiday list of names and addresses to Community Kitchens. If you wish to sign your own cards we can send them to you.
2. Enclose your donation of at least $5 per name (It is tax deductible). Make checks payable to Community Kitchens or charge to your Visa/MC by clicking Donate Now. Send the number of cards you wish to order and your list of card recipients and their addresses to ablackert@thecommunitykitchens.org.
3. Community Kitchens will then address, sign and mail a beautiful, hand-designed card in your name to each person telling them of your donation in their honor.
Your generous gift allows Community Kitchens to continue providing meals to the men, women and children of Birmingham who are hungry. This gift, “In the Spirit of the Season”, will be remembered long after the holidays by you, your friends and those served by Community Kitchens.
